Synopsis

PAGEANT takes you behind the scenes as 52 ordinary gentlemen go to extraordinary lengths to be crowned Miss Gay America®. PAGEANT follows five of the most talented and beautiful female impersonators as they prepare to dominate in this underground competition. The contest is about the art of illusion, so enhancements such as hormones are forbidden. Instead, the men work their magic using makeup, costumes, and movement. Interviews with the competitors, their families and support teams reveal the hopes and dreams that motivate these men, while stunning musical numbers show off their amazing talents.
