Synopsis

Tom Manning, a taxi driver, is falsely accused of the murder of an eight-year-old girl on a derelict bomb site. Jill, his loyal young wife, bewildered by legal procedure, fights for and wins the active sympathy of Peter Tanner, Junior Counsel for the Defense. Against heavy odds Peter proves himself a barrister of ability and resource.
