synopsis

In a quiet suburb of London live the Hallidays. In an effort to impress her father, Jo Halliday secretly writes a book entitled Naked Revolt which becomes a bestseller overnight. Whilst out shopping Janet Halliday meets Ian Howard who is teaching her to drive and he draws her attention to a copy of her daughter's book on sale in a nearby shop. Recognizing themselves as the characters portrayed in the book, the Hallidays now understand the curious stares and behavior of their fellow creatures, who have read the book ...
