Raquel has served as the Valdes family's maid for over two decades. At the age of 41, the stress of her job is finally starting to take its toll, triggering a series of crippling headaches and dizzy spells. The mother of the household decides to hire an additional maid to lighten the workload, but this doesnt sit well with Raquel. Hell-bent on protecting her territory, she uses a barrage of passive-aggressive tactics to drive her would-be helpers away, one after another. Winner of the Sundance Grand Jury Prize, "The Maid" is a humorous and touching story that will sweep you off your feet.
