In the romantic comedy "The Answer Man," Arlen Faber (Jeff Daniels) is the world's most sought after self-help guru with one small problem: he doesn't like people. Author of "Me and God," a book that's been translated into 100 languages, Arlen seldom leaves his house until an act of God forces him into the hands of Elizabeth (Lauren Graham, "Gilmore Girls"), a single mother raising her seven-year-old son.
